I love cars and just machines in general. It is my place of zen for sure when I'm out in the garage creating. From the HPA academy to ETS fab I now have the inspiration to go next level with my own builds and possibly go the next step and make a few runs of small parts.

After a class with HPA in wiring I have almost completed a complete rewire on my first love 97 DSM that I've owned since I was 23. Love this car and have so many great memories racing and being "fast and furious" but she is ready for "retirement". It's funny how back in 2003 an 11 sec street car was fast and now that is like production norm... She is going to get one final makeover to be a generation X ice cream machine to take the family out for rowdy ice cream trips.. I'm hopefully going to use what the folks here at ETS Fab to update some things like a full V Band exhaust and I've already made a removable upper rad support for easier disassembly.

Now that cars have become more computer controlled I find my middle aged self yearning for more analog cars. I picked up this MR2 to be my new track whipping boy and did a 2zz swap and 6-speed swap off that bat as the 1zz had a hefty rod knock. Thanks to some great info here I made many parts including the entire exhaust and saved extra money and that means more track thrashings for the little fella. Coilovers, all new superpro bushings, some new light wheels and sticky tires should make this little guy a blast. I have some things I designed in CAD to test my new knowledge from Nigel and have at my first TIG project Looking forward to some nice little custom touches.

That's awesome... I'm also from HPA and have wanted to take their wiring course to rebuild the harness on my 95 Evo III. Glad to see another DSM guy in here. I plan on making some aftermarket parts for these cars since there are so few. First on the build list is an intercooler.

Oh man I was just drooling over an Evo 3 here in the states just yesterday. Wish I had more car $ and garage!
