Hi guys.

Im extending factory v6 manifolds to merge into the turbo inlet flange.

The manifolds are some sort of stainless and quite thin.

Thoughts on what material and thickness I should use?

Thanks

I assume the OEM manifolds are for a NA engine?

I would strongly suggest you do NOT try modifying those for a turbo-charger because they will simply not be up to the task as the turbocharger(s) will put a lot more thermal and mechanical stress on them. At best, you may be able to clean up and use the head flanges to work from with fresh, thicker wall, pipework to save a few dollars - but only if they are a minimum of 10mm thick and preferably thicker.
