I was very curious on this welder when I saw you using it. So I looked it up...seems very legit and price pointed well. How do you like it compare to other welders? I am in the market for one and looking at an ESAB and Miller. Thank you!!!

Would also like to know about the SWS welder!

I do Have a Esab mig welder the rebel 215amp and is a great piece of kit! can imagine their tig machines would be pretty nice as well but they are definitely pricey

I have the ESAB Rebel 215ic mig welder as well, very good mig machine—only wish it has inductance. I’m in the marker for the ESAB Rebel 205 AC/DC or maybe the ESAB Rebel EMP 215ic and SWS Alumtig. I wonder if the Alumtig has amplitude adjustment; didn’t see it in the operator’s manual.

I have an HTP pro pulse 200, it has inductance control as well as a host of other features, plus i can run aluminum right off the wire feeder without a spool gun.

My tig is an HTP invertig 221 and it has individual amplitude adjustment, and way more features than it should have for its price

Im not sure what your budget is but i don't regret my purchase a single bit

Thanks Tsdfab, I looked at HTP didn’t dive into it though . I will look into more. Budget is around 3k max.

I will do some research on the HTP , thank you for the feedback!!

Thanks guys for the welder input, the SWS is a great welder with some really good features, I had a Token Tools Alupulse before this and it was good but I wanted more features and the the Alumtig from SWS for the bill nicely and is packed with features for a small price tag.

We don’t have much choice in Australia and most of those brands you mentioned are not sold here. Unfortunately SWS doesn’t have a distribution center in the USA so you probably won’t get to try one but they are a great welder.

I also have SWS Alumtig. And i did get it to Estonia :). I realy love this welder. My first tig, before alumtig i tried friends esab but it was to expensive. Alumtig has a lot features what i like.

The HTP are both under 3K each, so they are under your max budget (individually of course).

The invertig is amazingly smooth compared to my AHP alphatig which i upgraded from

Thanks guys for the input!!:) I am in contact with SWS and they can ship to the USA and still have the 3 year warranty. So that’s a great alternative to what’s being offered here as well.

For Europe, I have this AC/DC + plasma 200 amp welder: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USK5TnhrtWc

The new models is here and its very good quality, i am surprised they are not more popular: https://www.ebay.com/itm/WELDER-STAHLWERK-AC-DC-TIG-200-PULSE-ST-WELDING-MACHINE-IVERTER-PROFESSIONAL/153687833503?epid=19035047035&hash=item23c8823b9f:g:3-EAAOSwS5ReCMI6

They are around 1000 USD.

If you guys want one and have problems having it shipped, let me know as I can relay them from my address.
